Theodore High School Fine Arts Department held their annual Holiday Expo last night. The talent that was on display was incredible, and the arrangement was nothing short of professional choreography and musical arrangements. Thank you Mrs. Mather, Mr. Ivey, Ms. McDonald, Mrs. Ratcliff, and Mrs. Odom for coordinating this amazing display! Such a fun and inspiring way to ring in the holiday season!

Local Healthcare and Medical Professionals Needed!
We’re looking for Theodore and Mobile-area healthcare and medical professionals who are willing to host students for a job shadowing experience. This is a short, one-day opportunity for students to observe and learn from professionals in real workplaces.
Our students have voiced interest in careers such as:
Dermatology • Nursing • Physical Therapy • Occupational Therapy • Sonography • Pediatrics • Veterinary Medicine • Dentistry • EMT/Paramedic • Pharmacist/Pharmacy Tech • Medical Research Lab • Respiratory Therapy • Orthopedics • Sports Medicine • and MORE!

Theodore High School proudly congratulates Paisley Cox on being selected as a 2026–2027 Azalea Trail Maid! Paisley embodies excellence both in and out of the classroom, serving on Varsity Volleyball, Student Council, FCA, and the Yearbook committee while maintaining A-honor-roll status in honors and dual-enrollment courses through the University of South Alabama and Bishop State. She is deeply involved in her community through St. Vincent’s Catholic Church and volunteer work at events like Dayspring’s Night to Shine. Inspired by her cousin Carter, Paisley is passionate about advocating for children with special needs and spreading kindness wherever she goes. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and can’t wait to see her shine as she represents our school and community with grace and leadership.

Students from the Engineering Academy and 9th Grade BOSS Program visited Shelby Hall at the University of South Alabama’s College of Engineering and Computing Sciences.

Students learned about several engineering departments, explored different career paths, and took part in hands-on activities throughout the day.

This annual event is a great opportunity for students interested in engineering to experience what it’s like to study and work in the field.

October 23, 2025 was the 1st promotion ceremony for Theodore's JROTC Program. 72 of our cadets were promoted ranging from Cadet Private to Cadet Colonel. Dr. Maxwell was in attendance promoting our cadets, along with LTC. Troy Harrison and SFC. Christine Winslow. Parents and Relatives of the cadets were also welcomed to promote their child.
Congratulations to our New Cadet Leadership Team, every cadet that was promoted, and a special Thank You to Dr. Maxwell and Parents who were in attendance.

Theodore participated in our first local tournament last night at Dawes Intermediate School. Below are some pictures to add to the announcement.
