Matthew Pyle (7th grade) participated in the 2025 Middle School Math Olympiad sponsored by Alabama School of Math and Science and University of South Alabama last week. He came in 2nd place! This is his third year participating and third year placing in the top 3 spots.
Friday they took home 3rd place at the Alma Bryant Regional Tournament! Joselynn Wilkerson ranked 5th out middle school girls with a personal best score of 280. She also shot a perfect 50 round!!! Also ranked in the top 10 of middle school girls was Adalyn Parker ranked 7th (279). Christopher Rodgers ranked 8th in middle school boys shooting a 274!
Saturday, GBMS Archery took home 1st place in the Dixon Tournament. Adalyn Parker ranked 4th in middle school girls, Annalynn Cochran ranked 6th with her personal best of a 271, Kinslie Crawford ranked 8th (260), and Joselynn Wilkerson ranked 10th (258). In the middle school boys division, Will Johnston ranked 3rd (275), Luke Wilcox ranked 4th (270), and Christopher Rodgers ranked 9th (259).
He will be performing again at Allstate April 15th through the 18th.
